Performance Lab has offices in the U.S. and Russia, along with 500+ QA and testing professionals! We are growing aggressively and we are expanding our regional sales force out of our San Francisco office.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Pre-sales consulting: talking to a prospect customer, designing QA strategy, process and workflows, starting new QA projects in a leadership role
  • Answer and assist sales team with technology specific questions and matters relating to our services
  • Deliver product demonstrations — over the phone, in-person, and field events such as seminars, tradeshows, etc.
  • Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users
  • Investigating quality issues and proposing the most efficient solution
  • Establishing and monitoring QA processes on current projects, performing audit and proposing encasements into the current process on the project
  • Perform QA Audit, consulting or problem identification on client side; prepare requirements, estimation and time frames for future project team
  • Developing and documenting best practices, common approaches and solutions which bring the company competitive advantages on outsourcing market
  • Mentoring and coaching members of staff to improve overall testing and technical skill

Job Requirements

Mandatory requirements

• 5+ years testing experience at various levels including both test planning and test execution, as well as supporting processes such as defect management, etc.
• 3+ plus years of relevant experience as a Sales Engineer with a history of selling successfully into enterprises
• Experience in pre-sales phase for QA projects (consulting, proposal development, discovery)
• Solid understanding of industry standard testing best practices, common approaches and methodologies in QA/QC
• 5+ years personnel management experienced including overseeing both employee and contractor resources including on-boarding contractors
• Experience in starting projects from scratch including estimations, workload and goals
• Experience in communication with customers and leading projects
• Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports
• Organized and analytical, with the ability to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches

Optional Requirements

• Experience in Finance & Banking Domain
• Experience in performance testing: LoadRunner, JMeter and other tools
• Experience in any automation tool (Selenium / QTP / UFT)
• Experience in preparing automation frameworks
• Basic understanding of project management, including risk and issue management
• Experience in JIRA, HP ALM
• Certification in Testing (ISTQB or ISEB)
